Please check the dates carefully before booking. Once an order is placed it cannot be refunded.
Attendee Cancellations
If circumstances arise meaning you can no longer attend your chosen class, we will issue you a credit voucher that must be used within six months from the class date. If you contact us less than six weeks before your class, an admin fee of 20% of the total class value will be payable. This will be reflected in the voucher amount. Please see below if you would like to reschedule your class.
Rescheduling Classes
Class cancellations/requests to switch have become increasingly frequent, with us often having to rejig things and work hard to accommodate class attendees. While you may feel that yours is an individual case, it can happen to us several times per week. Having to change, slide and shuffle things around costs us valuable admin time and often means we lose out on income due to the original place not being filled. We feel we now have no choice but to charge admin fees for any reshuffles.
If you wish to switch your class to a later date, we can do so where spaces allow. Please note your chosen date may not be available. If you contact us less than six weeks before your class, an admin fee of 20% of the total class value will be payable. This will be issued as an invoice via email. Once payment has been received, confirmation of the class rescheduling will be sent to you.
Alternatively, you may also consider finding someone to take your place. In this circumstance, you must inform us of the name change and give contact details of the new booking immediately so we can update our admin details and send further information for the course to the correct person.
The Smiddy Cancellations
In the unlikely event that a workshop is cancelled, we will give you as much warning as possible, which will be no fewer than three days before the session is due to take place. We will email using the address provided upon purchase. Where the workshop cannot be rescheduled, we will provide a voucher for the entire value of the class, or issue you with a full refund.
The Smiddy is not responsible for any loss of travel costs due to cancellations.
